Cottonelle talks bums

#letstalkbums wait what?!? Yup you read that right. I will admit that saying the word bum is funny since it’s a word that I don’t usually say, but for that sake of this post, let’s go for it. Most of us tend to stick with the same brand of toilet paper and only use something different when we are outside our homes.

Cottonelle asked me to try their Clean Care Toilet Paper and also their Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloth. I love trying new things so I was totally game for it. Plus I have seen all the commercials and wanted to see what the fuss was all about.

I love that Cottonelle is soft and actually does seem a little wider than others that I usually use. My husband laughs at me because I by the big packs. I figure that if i’m going to buy toilet paper I might as well buy enough for awhile and I don’t have to keep going back. If he had it his way he would buy 2 rolls at a time. Yup, that’s my husband just buying single rolls of toilet paper. You can tell he was a bachelor for awhile before we got married.

Now for the part I was really interested in learning about, the Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths. I thought at first it would be weird. It really wasn’t. When I thought about it more, I realized that we wipe our babies bums with cloths, so why not our own? I did feel fresh after using the cloths, and a little more so than I usually do after normal toilet paper.

When you buy a dispenser you get a pack of the cloths with it, after that you can just buy the refills.Price wise the dispenser is under $5 so it’s definitely affordable. You can set it on a shelf next to the toilet or just simply put it on the top of the toilet cover like I did. That way it is easy to reach it when you really need it.

I would recommend trying it. For those who want to I have a COUPON that you can use to save $1.50.

  2. My husband has been using wipes for a long time, but he does not flush them. I find that to be, well, icky. At least he is the one who empties the bathroom trash can.
