Visionworks brand glasses

I have needed glasses since I was 11, and i’m now 30 so I have been through a lot of different pairs. I reached out to Visionworks to try out their glasses and I was thrilled when they said yes.

I was able to pick out the pair that I wanted from their site. I wasn’t really sure how it would work picking out glasses online because I wasn’t able to try them on. Luckily Visionsorks has a cool feature called frame finder that you can upload a picture of yourself or use one of theirs and “try on” the glasses that way. You take your picture and put the glasses over your face and that’s how you will see what it will look like. I thought it was a really good service.

There were tons of options to choose from. Ultimately, I choose the brown Chelsea Morgan glasses. While they are brown on the outside they do have a teal color on the inside to add some depth. They are rectangle and don’t have a nose pad which does make them slide a little but nothing horrible. VisionWorks has tons of brands to choose from and not just regular eyeglasses but also prescription sunglasses.

Along with my frames I was sent a gift card to cover basic lenses. The closest store is 1.5 hours away but it worked out perfect since I was going to that city anyway so the timing was absolutely perfect. Since I already had my frames in hand my time spent at the store was very minimal. All I had to do was the ordering with my prescription from my eye Dr. Otherwise if I didn’t have the frames in hand I could have tried on frames there as well like normal.  I do have to mention that selections may differ a little from locations and their website.

I was able to have them just ship the finished glasses to my home since I don’t live close by to go back for a fitting. They did everything ahead of time for me. I was told that it would take 7-10 days for the glasses to come into the store then the store would have to mail them to me. Not a big deal to me at all, but I was surprised that I actually received the glasses within the 10 days. I was giving more time for the extra mailing.

I really like the ones that I picked out and they fit very nicely. When it comes to cost, they have just about anything for anyone’s budget. Since glasses are like art (to me at least), cost will always depend on the brand (Guess, Nike..)
