Win a His/Her Moon Pie Prize Pack from First Things

My husband and I are guilty of letting life get in the way, and forgetting to date one another! With two boys, we often get so caught up in trying to keep the house running smoothly that we forget about what made us fall in love with one another in the first place. This video really made me stop to think, what it says is true, there will always be something that HAS to be done, and every now and then you just have to stop and make time for your spouse. You can learn more about healthy relationships at  http://firstthings.org/relationships/.

  1. I learned that studies suggest that having dinner together as a family at least four times a week has a positive effect on child development and can lower a child's risk of obesity, substance abuse, and eating disorders!

  2. I think the comments on the differences between Dads & Moms is funny & true! Moms will try to make you stop fun but dangerous behavior, while dads will do it with you, lol.

They will learn effective communication skills, conflict management, appropriate expectations, financial responsibility and much more. These are all key elements to help the relationship last.
