Your Baby To Be: Haven's Story

A few months ago I had the opportunity to do a review on the sonogram art from Your Baby To Be. Your Baby To Be takes the ultrasound picture that you provide them and puts it on a black or white background. Then they use very vibrant colors to really make the picture come to life. If you don’t really like the bright colors they can also use grays, and more subtle colors in the portraits. This artwork is so beautiful.

After I did the review there was a little girl named Haven born. She was born with many problems one being Trisomy 18 and multiple heart defects. Unfortunately Haven didn’t live very long, only 10 days. I asked Your Baby To Be if they would donate a picture to Haven’t family. Not only did they say yes, but they went above and beyond and donated the art on metal in a 10x10. It was more than I asked for and I am still so very grateful to them for doing this.

This is from Haven’s mom Andrea:

“Haven Rianne Quick entered our lives on June 23rd, 2014. We were so excited to welcome our very first girl. We learned of our pregnancy in November of 2013 and we were thrilled. However, we soon learned that Haven would enter this world a very sick little girl. We would learn through the pregnancy of several anomalies which included: spina bifida, bilateral club feet, multiple heart defects, absence of the right kidney, bowel blockage, and IUGR. She entered this world 8 weeks early and on the second day of life she would face a six hour surgery to repair her spine and bowels. We soon learned that all of her problems were related to Trisomy 18 and we were devastated but continued to pray and ask for God’s grace and guidance. On July 2, 2014 God knew that Haven was needed back in Heaven to continue his work and around noon that same day we open our arms and handed our precious tiny daughter back to her heavenly Father.
The grief of losing a child is a difficult event in life. It affects all areas of your life. Each day I would look at her things and pray over them and know that while I wanted to provide the best I could for her, God could provide far more than I could imagine. I began to look through all of the pictures and sonograms daily when waking and at night as I prepared to pray. We were then blessed to receive a _sonogram picture from Your Baby to Be. I was so happy when it arrived. It is absolutely gorgeous. The picture looks just like the sonogram but in such a vivid way. The colors are bright and beautiful and the quality unsurpassed anything I had seen.
It brings her precious face to life for us. I look at it each morning as I wake and each evening. It gives me some comfort to know that I can see her in such a beautiful way. We are so grateful to have this gift to treasure for life.”

This photo of Haven means so much to their family and I know whoever else orders them will love them too. You don’t have to wait until a child is lost to do this. I think it’s a very unique piece of art that is one of a kind from anything else. This is a picture of your child or a grandchild if you order for grandparents. Yes, prices are a little high, but for a one of a kind it’s priceless. Consider a gift certificate for a baby shower or a surprise for your family.

I want to thank Your Baby To Be again for their generosity in giving this amazing gift to Haven’s family. I may not have met Haven, but she is in my heart and mind as is her family.

  1. You welcome Kate and thank you for giving us the chance for bringing a little more joy to the life of Haven's family. We were blessed to have that opportunity as there can be no better gratification than to bringing smile on Haven's mom face after such a tragic loss.
