Febreze Home Harvest Collection

I don’t bake a lot (ok hardly ever), but I still love coming home and smelling that something sweet is in the oven. It may put me in a sugar coma, but I will enjoy the smell and enjoy eating it. Febreze asked if I would try out some of their plug in Home Harvest Collection.

One of the scents I was sent was the autumn harvest which smells like sandalwood and chai. Sometimes we have an idea of what something might smell like but once we get it home and plug it in, it isn’t what we were looking for. Febreze solved that problem and has a scratch & sniff on their packaging. I personally think that is awesome and a huge help while shopping.

The Fall Harvest Collection is only for a limited time at Walmart and has the following scents:

Autumn Harvest
Vanilla Latte
Toasted Almond
Sugared Cranberry
Spiced Pear

When I went to walmart to get another scent I picked Spiced Pear. To me it smelled the best out of all of them. I put it in my entry way so when I walk in the house I smell pears right away, and it smells so good.

Inside by barn of goodies that Febreze sent me was a few recipe cards. I was looking through them and one caught my attention right away (ok a few did but one was the easiest to make). I love coffee and ice cream so why not put them together. So I make an Iced Coffee Float. Like I said, it is super easy to make and so good.

I took the recipe they gave me and made a couple improvises with it as well.

Cinnamon Iced Coffee Float

Ingredients:
8 oz coffee
vanilla ice cream
cinnamon (optional)
coffee creamer/syrup (optional)

Directions:
Brew the coffee like you normally would (I used my Keurig since I was only making for me) and I add my favorite syrup.
Place the cup of coffee into the freezer for about 10 mins. You don’t want it frozen but you don’t want it hot either.
take your most favorite glass and then scoop two heaping scoops of ice cream
Sprinkle a little cinnamon on top
toss in a straw and spoon and enjoy

I really don’t know why I haven’t tried making this before. I will do this all the time from now on for a little treat.

All of Febreze products are affordable and can be found at your local Walmart, I would recommend trying them out if you haven’t already.

Do you use Febreze scents, and if so what is your favorite scent? Also what is a dish that reminds you of fall?
