Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Classics

I remember watching Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles when I was a kid with my brothers. I always loved loved the show and Donatello was my favorite. I don’t remember much about them since it has been so long since I watch it. So for the life of me I can’t tell you why Donatello was my favorite, I just remember he was.  I was asked if I wanted to watch their Cowabunga Classics DVD that has the top 10 fan favorite episodes, of course I said.

I was very interested to see which episodes they included since they said it was the fan’s top 10 favorites. our of the list and after re-watching the episodes I think my favorite is the night of Rogues which is in season 7 of TMNT.

Episodes

  • Planet of the Turtleoids
  • Night of the Rogues
  • Cowabunga Shredhead
  • Superhero for a Day
  • Turtles at the Earth’s Core
  • Curse of the Evil Eye
  • The Turtles and the Hare
  • The Big Blow Out
  • My Brother, The Bad Guy
  • Shredder & Splintered

Bonus Features

  • The Turtles: A Ninjatastic Look Back
  • Exclusive Artist Interviews
  • A Shellabration of Fan-Nomenon Sensation: Devoted and Die-Hard TMNT Fans Speak

It was so fun seeing that show again. I really wish there were cartoons like that on TV now. I’m only 30 but have seen some things change. I watch cartoons with my 11 year old and 2 year old and they are far different than they were when I was a kid, or at least from what I remember.

You can buy Cowabunga Classics at pretty much any big box online store, or see if they carry it in store. I’m sure your kids will love it. If they have seen the new movie that came out, it may be cool to watch this and show them where it all started.
