Daydreamer Sleeper Infant Lounger

As you all know, I am a pediatric nurse and work with medically fragile children. Many of these children have to sleep upright because of aspiration precautions, or because they have breathing difficulties. As you can imagine, we cannot hold these babies all of the time because we are often assigned 5-6 children per nurse. I have been looking for something like the Daydream Sleeper to take to work so the babies can relax comfortably, out of our arms. It is a 28 degree angle and is absolutely perfect for those day time naps that babies need so many of, especially the premie babies in my care!!

When I received the Daydream Sleeper, I was very excited to take it to work and try it out! There is one baby in particular I could not wait to try this with, and it works just as well as I had hoped! I wish I could take lots of pictures for you, but of course that would be a HIPAA violation. Trust me when I tell you, this baby that normally needs to be held all of the time rested very comfortably in the Daydream Sleeper, and even relaxed there for circle time and books to be read.

  • A waterproof seating area
  • Seat belt for added security
  • Can be placed on any flat and stable surface on the ground
  • Provides the baby with the comfort and security they need while they sleep
  • High walls on both sides of the sleeper prevent falling or dropping toys onto the floor
  • Soft cover is machine-washable and easily unzips for a quick cleanup
Now that I am pregnant, I am glad that this incredibly soft cover is machine washable so that I can bring this home the closer it gets to baby time. Instead of setting up a bulky pack n play in the living room for nap time (like I did with my first two babies) this is perfect! It takes up very little space, is very soft and comfortable for baby. I personally believe sleeping at an incline is safer, and if nothing else, it helps with a baby with reflux. I love that I will be able to move this from room to room so baby can sleep while I take a shower or clean the house. I also love the very pretty neutral, sage green color.

All in all, as a Mom and  pediatric nurse, the Daydream Sleeper is the perfect alternative to a pack n play or even a bouncy chair and I can only imagine it must be so much more comfortable! Like them on facebook to stay up to date with the latest products they have to offer.

  1. This little lounger looks so awesome! I would definitely love to have one for my baby girl. She loves falling asleep in her bouncer, but it's not really the best place for her to take her naps. I love that this has a washable cover, you never know when they might spit up!
