Mary Kay Product Review

I love getting Mary Kay goodies and am always so happy when a package arrives. I was lucky enough to get an assortment of products to review a couple weeks ago which included the Clear Proof Acne Travel Kit, Beauty Blotters Oil Absorbing Tissues, and Lash Love Waterproof Mascara.

The Clear Proof Acne System is awesome!The cleansing gel leaves my skin very soft and not dried out feeling like many acne washes do. A very small amount goes a long way. The blemish control toner leaves my skin very refreshed feeling and gives a little tingle, which I am sure is the acne treatment at work. Since my skin is combination skin, I need to use a moisturizer, but I obviously need to avoid any thick or greasy based moisturizers. This oil-free moisturizer for acne prone skin is perfect for me! It hydrates my skin beautifully, but without an overly thick greasy feel! The last and possibly, most important, ingredient is the acne treatment gel! This is amazing and really helps zap out acne! I've used many acne products and even a few clarifying skin kits, and the Mary Kay works better than any I have tried! After using this for a little over a week I am very happy with the results! My skin feels smoother and softer and I have noticed less blemishes.

The Beauty Blotters are perfect to keep in your bag! Instead of applying powder throughout the day to banish oil, you simply blot with these and the oiliness is gone! This leaves your skin looking more natural, without the caked on makeup look you might get if you keep applying makeup! My skin is not even that oily (more of a combination skin type) and as you can tell from the picture, it really draws the oil from your face!

The Lash Love Mascara is a perfect mascara just like all mascaras from Mary Kay! It glides on smoothly and lasts all day long! The waterproof means that it will last through anything, and especially the rainy Florida weather we have had! Often this weather has me looking like a raccoon, but that is not the case with Lash Love Mascara!
