keep your new years resolution with the help from audiobooks.com

Most of us listen to music when we work out or do chores around the house. Do you ever listen to audio books? I know I have thought about it but never really did. I have a friend that likes to read when she’s on a stationary bike or on a treadmill. I would think listening to it would be so much easier than trying to read as you are walking or peddling, even if it is in place. Audiobooks.com asked if I would try out their services, and since I have been meaning to do something like this for some time, I figured it would be a great opportunity to. Plus this way it would give me a head start on one of my New Years Resolutions which is to read more books (listening to them totally counts).

Audiobooks.com makes listening to your book very easy, you don’t have to transfer anything from one device to another just download the app on your smartphone or login on a computer. What you download on one device will be in your account, so if you want to listen on the computer you just go to your account and hit play.

When you sign up for their subscription service, your first book is free which is always a nice thing. After that you just pay $14.95 a month for one book, but if you want more you just buy a credit and can buy another book. You can also gift a subscription which is really nice especially for those hard to buy for friends or family members that love to read. This way you don’t have to guess at what they have or don’t have for books. They can buy what they want.

The first book that I downloaded was Gone Girl since a ton of my friends have been talking about it nonstop, so I had to find out what all the talk was about. I loved it. I don’t really have time to read, but listening to it makes it so much easier. Especially for me on the days where I can’t really concentrate due to my health issues. This is something that helps me not focus on that what’s going on around me.

I am currently listening to Divergent and love it. I have the books, but haven’t read them. I have seen the first movie and thought it was fantastic so I’m really enjoying the book so far. I can’t wait to finish and see what else I want to listen too. With over 1 million titles, I’m sure there are plenty of books that would catch your eye in listening to when you are in the car, working out, relaxing at home or working around the house.
