Philips Norelco 9700 Series 9000 wet & dry electric shaver

I was lucky enough to be sent a second Philips Norelco Shaver to try out (or I should say for my husband to try out). This time I was sent the Philips Norelco 9700 Series 9000 wet & dry electric shaver. I’ll start out by saying that this is probably the coolest and nicest shaver that I have seen.

The head on this shaver actually moves in 8 different directions. It does that because then it can get 20% more hair than you normally would. Another thing that I noticed when I watched my husband use this is that it really moved with his face rather than him having to couture his face around the shaver.

I have never seen a shaving system that cleans everything for you with a touch of a button. Not only does it clean it for you but it also charges it for you at the same time. You only need one hour to charge and you get 50 minutes out of it. Then in case you forget, you will still have some charge left. You will actually get more than that and if you really forget, just plug it in quick for 3 minutes and you will have enough power for one shave.

The shaver also comes with an attachment that is perfect for trimming sideburns or mustaches. This attachment is fantastic and doesn’t bother the skin at all, and my husband has some really sensitive skin.

I think that it’s great that you can use this shaver either dry or wet with shaving cream/gel. My husband prefers to use gel, so it takes a few extra minutes to apply the gel, rinse once in awhile and then wash his face. I personally like when he uses it wet versus dry. It feels like he gets more out of the shave.

You do get a 2 year warranty with the shaver, but if you would need new parts you can purchase those as well. That’s reassuring so that you don't need to think about buying a while new shaver again. The system also comes with a neat case so that you can keep everything safe and in one spot.

When you see the price tag, you might be a tad taken back, but remember that the Norelco 9700 comes with amazing technology and does a better job than I have ever seen. This shaving system runs for about $349
