As you know, I love essential oils for both their aromatic benefits as well as the benefits when topically applied. I recently was lucky enough to receive some products which allow me to get aromatic benefits of essential oils even while I am driving. Sun's Eye sent me a couple mini clay diffusers for the car and some awesome oils to go with these. The clay diffusers are perfect to hang in any small area but work especially well on a rear view mirror and add a nice decorative touch too!
It took a little getting used to and I initially poured a little too much oil into the diffuser and it took some time getting it to all soak in. Once it did and I was able to hang this in my car, it left it smelling really nice, and for days the scent of the oil lingered in the car. I have been using the sample of cedar I received because this is a Christmasy scent and after all, it is that season- and I just love it! It is not a very overpowering scent at all and Cedar is known for mental clarity, strength and reducing nervousness, all of which are great to have diffusing in a car!
The vanilla orange scented oil just smells absolutely amazing! I just love the scent and know I will love it even more during the hot summer months here in Florida. We also received the patchouli oil which is a very calming and grounding oil. It has a nice, earthy scent that my husband loves so it is now in his car with the circular clay diffuser. I have found that this scent seems to last even longer on his diffuser because it is a richer, deeper scent than the cedar or vanilla orange I keep for my car.
