It’s winter, which in my area means sick season. With everyone being so sick around me, including me, I needed something to help. I love essential oils, and when I can combine them with a humidifier it’s even better. Tribest recently asked me (perfect timing) to check out their Humio humidifier and essential oils.
Don't mind all my daughter's toys in the background |
Since I wasn’t feeling well when I got it, the first thing I wanted to use was the Peppermint oil. This will help my nausea sometimes so I thought using it in the humidifier would be even better. It did seem to help, and since then I have been using it in my living room during the day. At night I use other oils.
There is a little compartment that you pull out and put a few drops of oil in. When it comes to essential oils, a little goes a very long way. Lavender Oil is one of my favorite oils to use at night since it really helps with sleep and feeling calm. I haven’t used it with the humidifier in my toddler’s room yet but I will be soon. I love how easy it is to use the humidifier. You really just fill it with water, put it back together and plug it in. You just add a step if you are using the oils as well.
The Humio humidifier isn’t just a humidifier, you can also use it has a night light. It has different colors that will illuminate the room. The humidifier sells for around $89-$99. That may seem like a lot, but you get a ton for your money. So to me it is very much worth it. You can also purchase a bunch of different oils from Tribest when you are ordering your humidifier. They have Peppermint, Tea Tree, Eucalyptus, Lavender, and Oregano. The only one of the 5 I have not tried before is the Oregano. I’m really looking forward to trying that and seeing what it can do. It is known to help the body’s immune system. This will really come in handy when colds and flu are going around. Their oils are a great deal as you are getting large bottles for much less than other companies.

I really do recommend you check Tribest out and look at their humidifier with oils along with a lot of their other products. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed if you end up trying it.

Especially when combined with humidifiers, I no longer have to deal with season allergies when using them. In the future, when my essential oils run out, I will try using the products you have shared. ~ Karen.
