I believe shoes have a "life span" of 500 miles. So, I try to figure that out and replace them accordingly. No matter what, I get at least 1 pair a year.
ReplyDeletei feel its important to change the shoes regularly as old shoes could give trouble to the posture and give pain in the knees. so i recommend changing shoes every 9 months as its best way to stay healthy and improve the walks.
ReplyDeleteI do consider it important for foot health to change your walking/ running shoes at a sensible interval. However, I tend to wear my until they start to feel less comfortable, or have apparent wear showing.
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I change them when they wear out, whether that's one year or ten. (Laura DeLuca)
ReplyDeletei change mine when they get ruined or the sole is beginning to come loose,I cant afford to buy new shoes very often
ReplyDeleteI change them when the sole starts to wear.
ReplyDeleteI would love too get into better shape finances holding me back on purchasing news right now. soon I hope too buy new ones
ReplyDeleteI think it's very important to change your shoes regularly especially now that I'm having foot and back problems. I change my shoes out about every 1 to 2 years unless they're falling apart before then.
ReplyDeleteThe support that a shoe gives simply diminishes with use and those who need arch support for our feet start to have problems. A shoe that is designed for running or exercise walking may be better built and last longer than casual shoes, but they also have a life. Once I feel my feet complaining, those shoes are replaced no matter how good they look.
ReplyDeleteI know it's probably not good for me, but I always wear mine until there's hardly anything left in them.
ReplyDeleteYes, important to replace as often as you can
ReplyDeleteWell, let's be honest. Shoes, good shoes are very expensive and, even though I agree they need to be replaced after certain amount of wear, I simply cannot afford to do it
ReplyDeleteI try to replace mine as often and I can afford to. I think it helps with the quality of the exercise plus prevents injury.
ReplyDeleteI think you should get new ones because they wear out and thats not good for your feet. I usually get some every 6 months.
ReplyDeleteI will try to get new sneakers when the sole starts coming off, my last pair lasted for almost 9 years.
ReplyDeleteI do think it is important to update running shoes. I replace mine at least once a year, but try to do it twice.
ReplyDeleteI do think you should replace your shoes but it can be expensive. I am in need of New shoes now but waiting on a sale.
ReplyDeleteI do think you should replace your shoes but it can be expensive. I am in need of New shoes now but waiting on a sale.
ReplyDeleteI normally buy new shoes every 6 months as I work on concrete floors 12 hour shifts :(
ReplyDeleteI do think it's important to change your shoes periodically. I try to never wear the same pair of shoes two days in a row. I just try to get new shoes when I notice that they're not as supportive.
ReplyDeleteYes, I think it's important to buy new shoes for better support. I buy new shoes once a year.
ReplyDeleteI usually put a lot of miles on my running shoes so I buy a new pair every year.

I haven't really thought about changing my sneakers, I have had mine for about one year
ReplyDeleteYes, every 300 miles so about 4 mos
ReplyDeleteI do not really think about changing my sneakers until the sole begins to wear out!

No, I don't consider it such. I'm paraplegic, so just having a flat sole under my feet and something to protect my toes is good enough for me.
ReplyDeleteI do consider it important to buy new shoes. I buy a new pair each year

DeleteYes I think it is important because shoes can change as they get older depending on how much they are use. I don't change them out as much as I would like to since they are pricey.
ReplyDeleteI usually replace my shoes about once a year. I like to keep them newer and not worn down.
