Take Selfies easily with the SelfiePod

I take more selfies than I care to admit, but a lot of them are of me and my kids (that’s my story at least). Like most I sometimes don’t have long enough arm to take a really good pic, and one without my arm being in half of the picture. When BoxWave contacted me and asked me to check out their SelfiePod, I figured why not.

At first I thought it would be kind of “kiddish” to use the SelfiePod, but that went away as soon as I tried it for the first time. I wanted to see how far it extended and the stick, it seemed to keep going and going. Turns out it can extend to 41 inches, which is 3.4 feet! Sof you can’t take a good selfie within that range, then I don’t know what to tell you.

It can fit just about any phone as the grip part extends as well and can even fit a Galaxy Note 4 and an iPhone 6 Plus (which is what I have) without any problems.

To use it, all you have to do is fit your phone in and then set the timer. Most phones have a few choices like 3 seconds or 10 seconds to chose from. If you want you can also buy an EasySnap Remote (also available from BoxWave). When I put the timer on my phone it will take a quick 10 pictures via the shutter so you don’t have to retake in case someone blinks.

My daughter had her birthday party last month and used it a few times to take their pictures. They had so much fun with it. A few of the kids wanted one of the SelfiePods to take home. So it definitely passed the adult test, and it passed the kid test. You can buy it through Amazon and if you have Prime, you can have it in a couple of days.
