Quick and Delicious Spin on Chicken Salad with Sepo Sauce!
I know some moms cook amazing gourmet lunches for their children, and cut the sandwiches into darling little shapes, but that is not what we do here. Since my littlest is too young to "fend for himself" I am forced to make him a somewhat nutritiously sound lunch, and hey, if I am making him something it might as well be something I enjoy too right? I have a new BFF in the lunch making department, and it is Sepo Sauce. While I have never heard of it, this sauce has saved the day and turned bland chicken salad sandwiches into something to look forward to. Here is what I threw together today, and it was really amazing and totally different than your normal "mayo" chicken salad!
- 2 pieces of white bread toasted
- a small can of canned chicken or leftover chicken shredded
- 2 tablespoons of Sepo Sauce
- 5 sliced green or black olives
I tossed all that together and enjoyed an absolutely delicious chicken sandwich. Tasted just like something from a gourmet deli...well maybe if I had put it on a fancier bread!
