Fresh Food Delivered to Your Door From Hello Fresh #SizzlingSummer

When it comes to cooking new recipes, I get really nervous that I’m somehow going to screw it up. I’m so insecure about it, don’t know why, I just am. I recently asked to take a look at Hello Fresh. They pretty much do all the hard work, send you everything and then you prepare it.

We received 3 different meals from Hello Fresh. All three were portioned out so you knew exactly what ingredient went with what meal. I really like that feature as you don’t have to go searching through the box to find what I need.

The meal that stuck out to me the most was the Goat Cheese- Stuffed Chicken Roulades with Kale & Couscous Salad. I love goat cheese, like really love it! I had never tried couscous so I was really interested in what it was like

Prepping the meal was so easy since Hello Fresh includes a recipe card and step by step instructions that makes it easy to follow for anyone. Cook time is 40 minutes so not that long at all. Hello Fresh made their plates look amazing, but  I will admit that our plates didn’t look like that (who’s really do?). We also didn’t cut it up into slices, but just ate the chicken breast the way it was.

Everything was so amazing, that I wish we had more of it. What made a difference in the salad for me were the raisins. They added a little sweetness to the couscous and kale. I’m definitely going to try and make this again on my own (though I doubt it will be as good). You could tell everything was so fresh. Fresh produce just tastes so much better.

The second meal we had were the Indian Stuffed Peppers with Curried Beef & Garam Masala-scented Rice. I’m not a huge pepper person so I didn’t eat the peppers, just ate the insides. The peppers are stuffed with Ground Beef, Onion, Curry Powder, Garam Masala,Carrot, Peas, Basmati Rice, Parsley. The stuffed part was so good. We have been learning to cook indian more often and have really fallen in love with the flavors. Even my girls liked it, so it was a plus in my house.

The last meal was the Burst Tomato & Squash Fusilli with Sweet Bell Pepper & Parmasan. This wasn’t my favorite, but that’s only because of the tomatoes. I can be a very picky eater sometimes. My youngest daughter who is two loved it especially the yellow squash. Since this meal used the most veggies, we could really tell they were very fresh.

Hello fresh is very easy to use. You can choose between their classic box or their veggie box. Then you decide if you want the meals to feed two or four people. From there you let them know how often you want your box to arrive. Everything in their boxes is fresh and amazing quality. Best of all, it gets delivered right to your doorstep.

They do include the recipes with each box, but if you happen to lose one you can find them on their site as well. I love that feature as we did actually misplace one of the recipes (later found). so we were still able to make the meal.

This is perfect for a gift to give a family member, friend, or a family that could use a good healthy meal.

Hello Fresh is being really generous and is giving 2 lucky winners a box that will feed 4! Go and enter now!!!

  1. Thank you for the review What you need for the meal is preplanned for you and fresh which helps the daring to try out new and diffferent recipes. It really is a great idea. I can see how this would be a great gift for someone who has 'everything'
