 Being a new Mom is stressful! Shoot! Being an old pro Mom with a new little person is stressful, and sometimes we worry ourselves more than we have to. Let me tell you just how far video monitors have come since my oldest was a baby. Seven years ago, all we had was a very grainy picture on a video monitor, without an benefits of being able to zoom or speak into the monitor. We certainly did not have the option to play lullabies or record images, but the Levana Ovia allows all of this and more. I am actually blown away at exactly what all this video monitor can do, and I have to say, its the coolest piece of baby equipment I have laid my hands on in a very long time!  You can absolutely sleep in peace with this monitor because it springs to life with the slightest peep your child makes. Trust me, I tested this out thoroughly with her majesties big brothers, and it definitely does "wake" when they are making noise!

There is absolutely nothing that was not thought of in this video monitor. They even include an amazing SD card that you can use to upload videos and photos from the monitor to your computer or device. We have a fairly large house and the nursery is all the way at the other end (it covers 750 feet). I can still pick up a signal all the way across the house, with no worries. I love that is my moments of panic, I am pan and zoom into her room so I can see EVERYTHING that is going on! Again, I love that I will be able to talk to her and let her know that mommy is there, and all is okay when she wakes up in the middle of the night, without having to get up and walk all the way across the house to comfort her. That truly is an amazingly efficient feature (and cool!) feature! We received two camera, which is awesome (because hopefully we will be able to get her brother to sleep in his own room soon and we can watch him too!) What is even better is this can be expanded up to FOUR cameras. While I personally cannot think of a reason to have four separate videos for us, I know many families have like four kids ages five and under, and this might be incredibly useful for them.

Overall, I give this monitor a five star because it comes with more features than I ever thought possible for a video monitor. It is simply amazing, and will definitely give this mommy some peace of mind!! When she is napping during the day, this allows for more sweet snuggles with my toddler son and seven year old!
