Share you #BeautyStory with the help of walgreens and dove

What’s your family’s beauty secret? I have been wearing makeup since I was about 12 in one way or another. I’m 31 now so i have figured out by trial and error what seems to work best for me. Recently (it really should have been sooner), I found that if I combined primer and a little unscented lotion to my face before makeup that my skin not only looks better but feels better. Over the years Walgreens has been my go to for a lot of beauty supplies. They have great prices but it’s also fast to just run in and get what I need.

I love how Dove really knows that every women is shaped different, and no two are the same. Right now they are celebrating by sharing inspiring beauty stories. Use #BeautyStory on facebook and twitter and tell Dove your story.

Check out this great video to hear about one family and their secret to lasting beauty. Their #BeautyStory involves four generations of women, and a tradition of passing down one simple beauty secret: the Dove Beauty Bar. I was really moved when one daughter said, “My mom was the one who started this all off, and she passed it along to me and my sister. Then we passed it along to our daughters. So I guess it’s kind of like a family secret.” How sweet is that right?

During the month of May, stop by your local Walgreens or Duane Reade for a month long beauty event!  Once in store, go to the Beauty counter or ask your Beauty Advisor for a $2.00 off coupon for Dove products. These are valid from through 7/24/15, and while you’re there make sure to get a free Dove sample (while supplies last). Also, when you spend $15 on Dove products you will receive 3,000 Balance Rewards Points until 5/30/15! Use these savings at Walgreens and Duane Reade and soon you’ll be the one with a beauty secret to share.
