Camelio Tablet

Fallon sees me working on my tablet, and her sister on hers and wants to be like us and have her own big girl tablet. Camelio asked if we would take a look at theirs and of course I said yes.

Along with receiving the Camelio Tablet, I also was able to pick out a personality pack. You get to choose from Barbie, my Little Pony, Hot Wheels, Thomas & Friends and many more. The personally pack allows users to customize wallpaper, widgets, lock screens and so much more that varies by theme. We have a ton of Hello Kitty products, so I chose my little pony instead, just to mix it up a bit.

The screen size is 7 inches, which is really good especially for a child. I have seen ones that are so small that I don’t know how anyone can see on it. The specs are as followed and I have to say, there are some really good features:

The camera isn’t the greatest, but it’s a tablet for a child, so you really don’t need much. I do like that the OS system is ANDROID and also that you can put a micro SD card in for additional space. I loaded a bunch of Fallon’s favorite movies on it. It saves us big time for when we are not at home or on wifi.

Since the OS system is ANDROID based, it runs like other phones or tablets and has the same apps available. Our favorite right now is YouTube Kids app (made just for kids), LOVE that I can put it on this tablet and just let her watch it.

It’s a little bulky with the personality case, but I prefer it that way since it’s more protected and easier to hold than without. Fallon loves it and has her “puter” with her whenever we leave to go anywhere especially if I tell her it’s a trip. I’m pretty sure this will save our butts next month when we are moving across the country to AZ (eeek).

Overall we really like this tablet and Fallon really likes it. You can buy it online on Amazon for about $80 give or take. It may seem like a lot, but tablets come in all sizes and prices, so this isn’t really that bad at all.

  3. This looks like a great little gadget for my niece. I see that when you get them gadgets of their own, they don't have to try to borrow our gadgets.
