Puritan's Pride Aromappeal Essential Oil Giveaway!

Essential oils. They are the lifeline of my home. Seriously, even though I am a nurse and my husband is a nurse practitioner, you will find us reaching for an oil bottle a lot faster than a pill bottle or ointment. I am not even sure if my boys know that actual ointments for cuts and scrapes exist because I would much rather apply an essential oil! Recently, I reached out to Puritans Pride to review a selection of their oils. Even though I have been using essential oils for mood benefits and in place of medicines for many years, one area I had not converted over to essential oils was my beauty ritual. However, I have been determined to change that and knew that I needed to give oils a try, and Puritan's Pride helped me there. I received Aromappeal Geranium, Sandalwood, Bergamot and Jojoba Oil for review. All of these oils have great uses in my beauty ritual and I have been excited to try them!

Geranium- The first thing I did with this oil was immediately add about 10 drops to my shampoo bottle. Not only does this give it a wonderful scent, it helps my hair shine and look its best. I also love to use it on fine lines I see, and even spot treat acne with it! It really promotes beautiful skin and the smell really uplifts my mood and makes me feel instantly happier!

Bergamot- First off, I love this scent! It makes me feel instantly more alert but unlike other citrus oils, it does not have an OVERPOWERINGLY strong scent. I have been using it on my tummy lately to combat the stretch marks that are starting to appear now in my 22 week pregnancy, and so far so good with that. I have also put a few drops in steaming water and put a towel over my head and gave myself a little mini-facial with it. That really helps my pregnancy hormonal induced acne!

Sandalwood and Jojoba- Even though I have combo skin, there are some areas that are particularly dry. On these areas, every night I have been adding two drops of sandalwood oil to the jojoba oil and using this in place of my nightly moisturizer. It really helps and moisturizes so much better than my "other" ritual.

Let me tell you, using these beauty oils has changed my way of looking at skin care. Over the course of a few weeks using these (and I also added Frankincense that I already have at home to my morning moisturizer) has totally changed the texture of my skin! It is seriously so much more soft and supple and I love the way my skin looks and feels! The Aromappeal brand seems to be a wonderful brand, with quality oils at a very affordable price, and I know Puritan's Pride is a fantastic company to work with because they offer the very best in vitamin and oils! Overall, I am very happy in the quality and the price of all of the products I received!
