Walmart Made in the USA, Perfect for Father's Day

Are you looking for a last minute Father’s Day present, but don’t want to do the typical present? If the father figure you are buying for like creative and fun gifts, I may just have a couple really awesome ideas for you. Most of us already shop at WalMart so this is really something you can just pick up. Walmart has committed to created more jobs and keeping as many things as possible her in the states, so of course they also sell some great products that are Made in the USA (MiUSA). Since I live here in the USA it is important to me that my friends, family and members of my community keep their jobs, so when I can, I like to buy things made here. So in the spirit of Father’s Day, I wanted to share with you a couple neat and very affordable options that you can get as a gift.

Pennington Cedar Birdhouse

A bird house probably isn’t something you thought of as a gift, but it really is a neat and fun idea. You can spend time as a family hanging it from a tree you selected and also putting bird food inside and watching the birds come and go. All you do is take the little screw from the bottom, screw it on the top and use the hook to hang it on a tree. If you want to get a pole and put in the yard you can do that as well. For under $10, this is a perfect gift. We set it on our big tree as we warn’t sure yet where we want it and are thinking of the pole, as that may be our best option.

Sweet Peas and Planter

This is a very simple little gift that is perfect from a small child. What kid (even adult) does like planting something and watching something grow. For really only a few dollars you can buy some sweet pea seeds and a little plastic planter and grow your own. It’s a great little product that the whole family can get involved in and perfect for some dad and child time. If you don’t want sweet peas, then just simply choose another one that would do well in a little potted planter. You don’t really even have to buy a bag of dirt, you can just get some from your garden (that’s what we did).

Father’s Day isn’t about expensive gifts or what can you top from last year. It’s about spending time with your dad/husband/father figure and appreciating them for all they do. I would recommend checking out some of the other great products that Walmart has that you can just pick up at your local store for a great last minute gift.
