I was recently sent a few new doTERRA oils to try from the natural cure. I was so excited as I chose three that I don’t have yet. When it comes to oils, I love my staples but it’s so much fun to have new ones. I will be talking about this further on in the post, but wanted to mention it right away. Later this week (Saturday 7/11) I will be hosting a class on facebook that will help answer questions and of course do giveaways of oils, so make sure you read that part and join me and the natural cure in the class.
*** Always make sure you use a carrier oil when you use essential oils. ***
Most people think cooking when they think of clove. You can of course use it that, but you can also use it for so much more than that. Did you know that clove oil is one of the best you can use as an antioxidant?
One of the things I learned from the natural cure is that if you use one drop of clove and one drop of either lemongrass or peppermint to help with Hypothyroidism. Combine the two oils with some coconut oil and apply to the bottom of your feet. I love doing this with other oils as well at night. I just put my socks on so it doesn’t get all over the place and go to sleep.
Do you have baggy eyes or puffy skin? Add a drop to some coconut oil and rub it into the areas in question!!!
If you have digestive issues then ginger may be a perfect oil for you. There are so many ways to use ginger when it comes to the stomach. You can rub right on your stomach (with a carrier oil) or diffuse it (plus that makes the house smell so good). I have chronic and horrible nausea and unfortunately for me ginger doesn’t work, but it does work for my girls. Whenever they come to me with a stomach ache I immediately use this now. My little one has gotten so used to it she now just asks for the tummy oil.
Grapefruit has been on my bucket list of oils for some time now so I was so excited to try this. Ladies, if you have PMS, consider using some grapefruit oil. I even put a drop into my diffuser necklace and smell it throughout the day when it is getting to my time of month. You can also diffuse it in the air like ginger if you want at night.
One of the other great benefits of grapefruit is that it can help with weightloss and be used as a dietary supplement.
If you using grapefruit oil, please be careful when going out into the sun as it can make you photosensitive. Also avoid using during pregnancy.
I’m so glad I was able to try all three of these oils out and am adding the grapefruit to my staple list from now on. I recommend you checking out all the other oils and products that the natural cure has.
As I mentioned before, I will be hosting a class on July 11th. The natural cure will be the ones teaching. The class starts at 12 pm EST and will last an hour. You don’t have to worry if you already buy though someone else or even sell doTERRA yourself. This is a great class where everyone will learn and there will even be some giveaways.
We will cover the following and more:
What are essential oils
Why we use them
How we use them
Why we use doTERRA
Specific oils for YOUR health concern
So please join us, ask questions, win products and have a great time. You can RSVP HERE!!! Hope to see you there.
