Have you ever looked at water filtration systems? I talking more so about an under the sink types. I have one that is over the counter and I love it for drinking, but having one for the sink makes it perfect for everything. 3M makes what is called an Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Water Filtration System that you really need to check out.
Like most people, space in my kitchen is limited so I can’t have a million things in there or even in the cupboards (my husband tells me this everyday). My first worry was that it wouldn’t have enough room. Minimal under sink space is really needed so you still have room for your bucket, windex or whatever else you put under there.
When buying one of their systems, my other thought is; ok do I need to hire a plumber to put this in as well, I don’t know how to do this. I can do tons on the computer or with other technology, but have me fix something and i’m not your girl. If you are a handy person you could probably do this yourself otherwise it may be wise to have a plumber help you out. Changing a filter on it is really easy too.
You probably know what the benefits of a counter top filter or one you have in your fridge. The Aqua-pure is kind of like that but on a larger scale. There are two systems that you want to check out and see which is right for you and your family.

3M™ Aqua-Pure™ Under Sink Water Filtration System, Model AP Easy Complete, 5617931 is the other model that is $250. The capacity isn’t as large but it’s still very worth looking at.

ReplyDeleteI honestly didn't know that you could get something like this for your home, how awesome! I am picky about my water, so this is definitely something I'm going to look into getting, thanks for the share!
ReplyDeleteBuying bottled water is so expensive, it would be so much cheaper in the long run to have one of these!
ReplyDeleteWe have water with a lot of minerals in it that makes it taste bad. I could use this!
ReplyDeleteI use the Brita water filter system in my fridge. Yes, I have to buy filters for it, and it takes up a lot of room in my fridge, but the water tastes great! I have considered a water filtration system, but since I live in an apartment building, I don't think that my superintendent would appreciate it! Plus, if you still have to buy filters for the under-the-counter version, how does it save you money?!
ReplyDeleteWe live in a townhouse so we go the Vero route but if we had a home this would be a must.
