Slow Cooker Apple Butter

So I was craving cin & sugar on toast but then thought of apple butter. I didn’t have any but I did have the ingredients to make it. I decided to try making it in my slow cooker!!!!

Ingredients

  • 10 medium apples
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions:

  • peel, core, and cut all 10 apples into chunks
  • add apples, brown sugar, vanilla and ground cinnamon into the crock pot. stir
  • cook on low for 12-14 hours (mine took 12) until apples are soft
  • transfer apples and juice into a blender and puree until smooth. You can also use an immersion blender right in the crock pot.
  • transfer into containers and chill in the fridge. you can freeze some as well.

I hope you enjoy!
