VTech® Kidizoom® Action Cam

Camera's. Kids are certainly more savvy about cameras now and I know my boys have been grabbing at my camera and taking selfies since they were babies. Vtech® asked me to review the VTech® Kidizoom® Action Cam so I had to jump at the chance. We try to be a very active family, so there are lots of opportunities for my family to use this camera, and for my little guys to feel like they adults with their cameras. You should see them aiming and trying to get the best possible photo or video. It is truly a camera that is made for children. This camera can go into the water, and can handle being submerged in up to six feet of water.

While the quality of the photo is not up to what we call, adult standards, for a child this is an amazing piece of equipment, at a very affordable price! We decided to really test the camera out and take it to Discovery Cove on our swim with the dolphins this weekend, and my son really enjoyed himself filming and taking pictures of all of the fish and sting rays that we discovered.. He was totally hamming it up and acting like a professional photographer, and was pretty proud of the result he got! I love that we were able to get underwater pictures of him, the fish and everything else, without worrying about getting the camera wet. There are also plenty of kid friendly options with this camera, like adding fun overlays to the photos. While this camera is not GoPro quality (but seems to be the kid version),  for around a $60 price point this is the perfect, handy camera for kids who want to capture some of there exciting summer adventures to share with their friends!! Overall, I am very impressed and pleased with the camera, and so glad we have the opportunity to try it out!
