When you have children, you will eventually have a room full of stuffed animals. I have a 12 year old and boy did she love her stuffed animals, so when we had another child I knew what I was in for. Some (ok, most) they don’t need, like at all, but they love them and it’s worth it. There are times that you come across some that are just too cute to not get. Zoonicorns are in the category that are just way too cute.
What kid doesn’t love zebras and or unicorns? Combine them into one animal and you get a Zoonicorn!!! One of the things I love about these animals is that they are small. My daughter put two in her backpack and took to show and tell (3 year old preschool), so they are very portable. Each Zoonicorn has their own personality, so they are more than just a little stuffed animal.
Valeo (blue)- “The Zoonicorn herd looks up to me because I’m their leader. I like to hang out with my friends especially the giraffes in the Africa exhibit.
Sometimes when I meet new animals, I feel a little scared but I try to act brave. About the only animal in the zoo I don’t like to get too close to is the lion. He has BIG teeth.”
Sometimes I’m quiet and might seem a little shy. That’s only because I don’t like to get a lot of attention. Once you get to know me, you’ll see I’m smart and gentle.
I’m the Zoonicorn you can trust with your secrets. That’s why my name sounds like the word “promise”. I promise to be your friend forever!”
Aliel (pink)- “Make way! I’m coming through! The name is Aliel (A-lee-el).
When you first meet me, you’ll think my mouth gets ahead of my brain! I’m the speedy Zoonicorn. Zoom, Zoom! And I love to play! You might have a hard time keeping up with me. Every animal in the zoo is my friend! Do you want to be my friend, too? Let’s play soon!”
Ene (green)- “Zzzz…. Oh, Hello! I just woke up from a long nap under that tall tree. Let me introduce myself. I’m Ene!
I’m the Zoonicorn who likes to nap. But don’t let my napping fool you! Once I wake up, I go right back to my old tricks.
The other Zoonicorns call me the mischievous one! I didn’t think I put too much pepper in Mr. Giraffe’s hay. But he sure let out quite a long sneeze! When you want to play, you’ll find me relaxing with friends under the blossoming trees. See you Zoon!”
Another cool thing is that they also have a book. It’s a really cute book with great graphics and also teaches kids a lesson (double bonus!) “In Buffy Meets the Zoonicorns, Buffy feels a little ignored and wants the freedom that the older animals have. Within Buffy’s dream, she meets the Zoonicorns and learns to appreciate the balance of freedom and responsibility. After waking up from her dreamland adventure, Buffy quickly realizes how much she appreciates her life… just as it is! Each book includes a life lesson for positive reinforcement.”
Everything is sold separately if you want or you can buy them all as a package deal with the book. This would make for a great present for pretty much any child.
By looking at their personalities, which one would be your child’s favorite?
