Disney Pixar Short Sanjay’s Super Team

I love Disney and Pixar’s short films. It’s always a good start to watching a movie. For being only a few minutes long, they sure pack a lot into it. Over the years there have been so many but one of my favorite is probably Geri’s Game. Remember, the one with the older guy playing chess alone? I love that one! Once again the duo has a new short coming out called Sanjay’s Super Team.

You can see the short film when you go see The Good Dinosaur, which is opening on Nov 25th.

In “Sanjay's Super Team,” the new short film from Pixar Animation Studios, accomplished artist Sanjay Patel uses his own experience to tell the story of a young, first-generation Indian-American boy whose love for western pop culture comes into conflict with his father’s traditions. Sanjay is absorbed in the world of cartoons and comics, while his father tries to draw him into the traditions of his Hindu practice. Tedium and reluctance quickly turn into an awe-inspiring adventure as the boy embarks on a journey he never imagined, returning with a new perspective that they can both embrace.

  1. I love that they're embracing a different ethnicity and showing children how to respect their traditions but also love new ways and ideas! So cute too!
