There are two models, the Essentia and the Premiere, and while the Essentia is the more basic model, I am still thrilled with it. It does not vibrate or offer and lullabies or soothing vibrations that the Premiere model offers, but it still has the 360 degree swivel that is so important to me! I also love the size of this bassinet. I have had bassinets in the past that are downright tiny, and my bigger boys outgrew then within a couple months. This bassinet is much bigger than those, and I anticipate her being able to use it until she is much more mobile. They side of this bassinet also has a retractable side wall which makes it even easier for me to take her out of the bassinet in the middle of the night after my pain meds have worn off! She seems incredibly comfortable in this Bassinest and sleeps as snug as bug in rug in it! I have found that standard bassinet mattress sheets are a little small but do manage to stretch to fit it, and with the nice sized pocket on the side of the bassinet, I can store an extra sheet if she ends up wetting through her diaper in the middle of the night. Sheets made to fit this particular sleeper are available on the Halo site as well.
I have been very impressed with the HALO™ Bassinest™ Swivel Sleeper and highly recommend it to any expecting mom. It would make an awesome Baby Shower gift too, especially if the Mom is expecting a c-section! Check out this video to get a better understand of exactly how it swivels, and how it can help any mom, but most especially the recovering c-section mom!

Your Princess is beautiful !!! Wish these bassinets were around when my sister had her 3 boys all by c-section. Nice product.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how much technology has come up with since my mom was a kid. This Bassinet looks ideal to help take the physical stress off after the baby arrives. I hope I win this for when my child is born, but it's an awesome shower gift too.
ReplyDeleteWow, that is so cool. That would have been very useful with all 5 of our kids.
