Epson Picturemate- the perfect photo lab for everyone

I love taking pictures, most people do. I don’t print out as many as i used to. The combination of digital and cost of using my regular printer. I was recently sent the Epson picturemate PM-400 to try out. I'm really in love with this thing.

The first thing I should mention is the size. This is so small that you can have it sit on a shelf or the corner of a desk. I love that. The compact size is a big deal to me.

The setup only takes a few minutes. I started to download epson connect on my phone while the printer did its thing. After that it was just connecting it to my network so I can print from, my phone.

I highly recommend that you register the printer right away and then customize your printer's email address. You will want this so that you can just email a picture to it and it will print for you. I have done this with my regular full size printer and it's great. My husband has needed a document and it was easier for me to print it than email to him, and then him print it. So being able to do that with this printer is awesome.

The quality of the pictures that it prints out rivals the ones I would get from the print shop. If you want a picture larger than a 5x7 you will still need to order from a store but anything other than that this picturemate can do.

I mentioned that you can email your pics or use your phone app. If you don't want to go that route Epson has made other ways you can as well. You can hook your camera up through the cord and then just use the screen on the printer to choose the pic. Otherwise you can also use an SD card.

You can print one picture if you want or even have 30 in que to print. When your ink is getting low, like most printers, picturemate will let you know. Only use Epson cartridges with this.

The Picturemate PM-400 would make for a perfect Christmas present for just about anyone especially for parents!

  3. This would be awesome and I'd use it all the time! With three kiddos, the photos are never ending, so no more printing and paying 10 cents per print from the store.
