The Perfect Derma Peel Maintaining Products

I may be only 31 years old, but sometimes my skin thinks it’s older. It doesn’t help that I in the past year moved from a humid climate to the very dry desert. I always love lotions and cremes but also have so interested in the facial peels and wondered if they really work. Recently I had the opportunity to try out some of the products from The Perfect Derma Peel that one would use to maintain after a peel. I’ll be getting an actual peel soon (so excited).

not me! model for The Perfect Derma Peel

Not that long ago, peels would be in the high hundreds if not even more. The Perfect Derma Peel makes it a little more affordable. It’s still an added cost, but one that can help make you look and feel so much better.

I’m not going to talk about the Peel much as you will have to wait for that part for after I do it. I can’t wait to see the results. Instead I’m going to show you the maintenance products you can get to help keep your peel working for you.

The first one I received is The Perfect Cleanser. I really wanted this one as I wear makeup on a daily bases and wanted to make sure I got my face super clean. I love how it made my face feel after rinsing. It’s an 8oz tube, but goes a long way. I have always learned to start with a little and you can always add more if you need. There is no point to waste. Plus at $30, it’s a great price point for the quality that you get.

Some of the key ingredients they use are:

Aloe Vera Leaf - Contains Vitamins A & C which promote healthy skin; anti inflammatory
Azelaic Acid - Reduces skin inflammation, brightens skin
Willow Bark extract, Sugarcane extract & Green Tea extract - This blend of antioxidants enhances skin health by reducing free radical damage

The Perfect A was the second product. They contain the acidic form of Vitamin A. They do this because it increases the cellular turnover. In return you improve your skin tone and it’s texture. Using this cream is perfect for helping wrinkles, sun damage and the dreaded acne!

I’m happy that I don’t get many pimples anymore but once in awhile they like to just pop out so to speak. I am loving The Perfect A as it makes the pores smaller, especially the ones on my nose (they need the most help). The price point of The Perfect A is $64. It does seem a little high, but if you can afford it, it’s worth it.

Key Ingredients:

Tretinoin 0.1% – a retinoic acid intended for the treatment of acne vulgaris by increasing turnover of follicular epithelial cells.
Vitamin C 10% – an essential nutrient for healthy skin, well known for its antioxidant activity. Protects skin cells and skin’s support structure from UV-related damage, reduces inflammation, promotes collagen production and reduces hyperpigmentation.
The Perfect C is the last product that I received and it’s amazing. I haven’t lived here in the desert long but i’m sure those who have lived here a long time will definitely need this. I’m sure I will need it even more in a few years as well. It contains 20% of vitamin C in its best form (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid).

For those who spend a lot of time in the sun this with help decreases the risks that come with UVA/UVB damage. It also protects cells against UVB! For $76, you get what you pay for. This creme is great. It even increases collagen production!
Key ingredients:
Ethyl ascorbic acid - Provides superior skin lightening and collagen synthesis for a clearer, more youthful complexion.  This extremely stable form of
Vitamin C deeply penetrates the epidermis for maximum benefits.
Ergothioneine  – An antioxidant amino acid that reduces free radical damage, thus protecting proteins against oxidative degradation from glycation.
Palmitoyl tripeptide-38  - This peptide helps smooth wrinkles and rebuild healthy skin.
Ferulic Acid  - Extracted from rice bran oil, Ferulic Acid is one of the most powerful natural anti-oxidants.
Symphytum Officianale root cell extract – Derived from comfrey leaf, this extract has a high content of vitamin C, carotene and B12.
Additonal ingredients:  Ethyl ascorbic acid, Sodium Hyaluronate, Palmitoyl tripeptide-38, Ferulic acid, Ergothioneine, Symphytum Officianale root cell extract, allatoin.
I have been using all 3 of these for a couple of weeks and love it. I seriously can’t wait until I can have the peel done and then I can really see how well it works. So, Please come back and see how that goes.

In the meantime, check out The Perfect Derma Peel site, their products and if they have a doctor near you that you can book a peel session, OR give a gift cert for a loved one for let’s say a Valentine’s Day gift (wink). I know if my husband gave me that, I would love it.
