My 13 year old daughter is the typical new teenager and doesn’t like to try new foods. If she thinks she doesn’t like something she won’t even give it a thought. So while we were at a restaurant a couple months ago, I saw they had fondue (which I love). With a little coaching I got her to try some, and she loved it. So when I had the opportunity to do a review on a fondue set from Trudeau, I definitely wanted to take them up on the deal.

I made our cheese sauce on the stove and then transferred it to the Lumina 3-in-1 Fondue Set. I love that it comes with six fondue forks, all of different colors. For the fuel, you can use their gelled fuel a couple different ways. You can buy a container that you can refill the little cup, or you can buy capsules that have it all ready for you and you just have to light them. Just make sure you buy the right gelled fuel.
The whole set is very easy to use, put together and take apart to wash. Sometimes you get something that you have to take apart carefully and it’s hard and way too many steps. With this set from Trudeau, it’s the opposite, you pretty much just take layer after layer off and you are good.
To go with the cheese we cut up some bread, but you can really use anything, broccoli, shrimp, cauliflower. Seriously, pretty much anything you like dipped in cheese.
I can’t wait to try it with more recipes and more things to dip. I know my loves it and is going to make some on her own this weekend.
Make sure you check out their site for all their different Fondue set options, and other products. This would be perfect for Valentine’s day!
