Chuck E. Cheese's and BBBS

Where we used to live there wasn’t a Chuck E. Cheese’s close by, but now that we moved there is. We have since gone a few times in the last few months as the kids love it there. We recently learned that they are working with Big Brothers Big Sisters on a fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese’s locations on 3/31.

I personally haven't had a “big brother or sister” with them, but I do know ones that have and the loved it. They loved helping kids out and those kids helped the adults too.

So, it comes to how you can help… The first thing is to talk about charities and how they help so many people. You can explain how BBBS helps kids and they match them up with adults to mentor them.

Then the fun part begins. You get to tell them that they can help BBBS by going to Chuck E. Cheese on 3/31. On the 31st every Chuck E. Cheese’s will donate 15% of sales from 3pm to 9pm. All you have to do is go, order food, play games and mention BBBS.

They also doing a donation drive throughout April, where families can donate $1, $5 or any amount of their choice to help BBBS match “Littles” with “Big” mentors. If your child wants to donate they will get a ticket that they can put their name on to show they donated.

I love this idea that kids can be in on the benefit and have fun at the same time. So please head over to Chuck E. Cheese's on the 31st, eat, have fun and donate to BBBS.
