Everyone loves a great love story and a wonderful story of success over hardship, and when you combine the two together- you definitely have a hit movie!! I also happen to be a huge fan of both music and dance, and the new movie High Strung incorporates that into it as well! This is an action packed movie that shows that true love and determination can transcend any differences. The story is based on a moderately well off but socially awkward scholarship dance student and a British musician who meet, connect, inspire one another and then eventually fall in love and overcome all of the hardships that are thrown their way! The movie can be emotional and even a tear jerker at points, but is definitely a must watch. For us, it made an awesome date night movie. My husband is typically the one who likes more romantic movies, while I tend to like more supernatural type shows, but this one really kept both of our attention and left me with a sweet feeling after watching it. I walked away thinking the world might not be such a bad place after all, and we should all shoot for our dreams and goals. Just as Johnnie truly overcame it all with the help of Ruby, with her right by his side every step of the way. This movie is also a great family movie for slightly older children. I love the message that it teaches about determination, and setting goals and achieving them!
If you are a fan of dance, music, romance or inspirational movies then this is a movie for you! Pretty much, if you are human, then this is a movie for you!

This looks very interesting although this is the first time I am seeing anything about this story, you would think it would be more over the tv.
