Smoothies and shakes are a big thing in my house. We love coming up with different flavors or just the simple protein shake. If i’m making smoothies for the whole family then having a big system is great, but if I just want one, I don’t want a big thing to deal with. Ninja has some of the best products what helps me with that. I was recently sent the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Compact System.
When I first opened it up, my husband kind of rolled his eyes. He did this only because he’s like “another blender”. He stopped the mocking once he saw how awesome this one really is. Now he wants to use it daily.
I know some parents are worried about having their kids use blender's because of the parts and such. Well, Ninja looked at that issue and fixed it. You can’t even turn the machine on until the pitcher or cup is on and the top is secured. This way not only is there no splatter, but also kids (or anyone) can’t get cut. For me that is a huge thing since I have a 13 year old that love to use it.
Of course the Nutri Ninja Auto-IQ Compact System isn’t only for smoothies. You can make so much more with it. Honestly though, that is what we primarily use it for. I can throw all my ingredients into the main pitcher or I can put in their cup, blend, and switch out the tops and go. Saves on a ton of time and clean up. This system comes with 2 regular to go cups, the pitcher and then a stainless steel to go cup. It is definitely an all in one system (just smaller than the regular size blender.
- Nutrient & vitamin extraction AND high performance all in one machine
- Next generation Auto-IQ™ Smooth Boost™ Technology that takes drink customization to a whole new level
- Includes two 24-ounce Nutri Ninja Tritan Cups with two Sip & Seal Lids, 24-ounce stainless steel Nutri Ninja Cup, 40-ounce blend & prep bowl with dough/chopping blade, 48-ounce XL multi-serve Nutri Ninja, and 30 recipe inspiration guide
- Additional attachment available is the first-ever coffee & spice grinder blender attachment
You may be wondering what smoothie I made. That would be one of my kid’s favorites and our go to…. Strawberry Kiwi. It only has a handful of ingredients and is really good.
Ingredients (makes 1 large smoothie):
1 banana
½ cup frozen yogurt (vanilla, or we like vanilla bean)
¾ cup orange/pineapple/banana juice blend
6 strawberries
1 kiwi
Directions:
- Place all ingredients in the blender and blend until smooth.
It will take well under 30 seconds. Take advantage of the smooth boost button or the extract button. These features are amazing and make blending so much easier and faster than before.
You can transfer into any cup you want, one of their cups or if you used their cups then just put a lid on and enjoy. I made this one for myself but that didn’t work out. My 3 year old stole it and finished the whole thing in about 2 minutes. I told you, they like their smoothies.
Ninja also has a great section with recipes and ideas on how to make your smoothies even better.
