Everything
is better with ranch right? I certainly think so! I have been asked to
write a sponsored post to tell you why Litehouse Homestyle Ranch will
make your salad pop this summer and share with you my favorite salad
recipe!
There is something about the creamy, refrigerated dressing that just makes everything taste so much better! Hey, if this dressing gets me to experiment with adding salad to my diet more frequently, THAT is a big deal! I threw together this yummy salad that I wanted to share with you! I mean come on, cheese, bacon, ranch...you cannot go wrong!
What you need is:
- Romaine or iceburg lettuce or bagged salad mix (whichever if your preference)
- tomatoes
- shredded cheese
- bacon (real or bits)
- chicken (canned or fresh baked chicken)
- Crispy Salad Onions
If your chicken is baked you will need to shred it, but if it is canned simply drain it and add Litehouse Homestyle Ranch to it, mix well and set to the side. I then make my salad with the lettuce and tomatoes, then add a generous scoop of chicken on top, and add a sprinkle of cheese, bacon and crispy salad onions. Over all of this I add another drizzle of Litehouse Ranch, and mix together and enjoy!
This is my absolute favorite way to eat a salad. It is so full of flavor, and the Litehouse really makes the whole thing come together! There is something about that super fresh tasting salad dressing that is sold in the refrigerated section of stores that really makes the salad taste so much fresher! We hear all the time that the healthiest/freshiest foods are on the outer perimeter of the grocery store, and do you know what is located in that area? Fresh Litehouse Dressings! This is definitely the dressing you want to put on your salad this summer. Try it once, and you will never go back- your taste buds will thank you!
I grew up on the bland, warm shelf salad dressings and never thought much about all the preservatives that was stuffed into it to keep it shelf stable, but now that I am older and feeding these foods to my children I want them to REALLY enjoy their salad. Litehouse refrigerated dressings taste better and make our salads that much more enjoyable, and it is quite honestly my three year old sons favorite food! We definitely #SeeTheLite! ReplyDeleteNow that we are heading into summer, I am looking for recipes that don't require my oven or slow cooker to be on. I have vegetarians in my family so I would have to use fake bacon but everything else looks good. What crispy salad onions do you use or do you make your own?
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a light and lovely lunch.
