SwimWays 5th Annual National Learn to Swim Day!

This post was sponsored by SwimWays as part of an Activation for Influence Central. I received products to facilitate my review.

SwimWays is one of the better known names in infant and kids swim safety items so I was thrilled to receive the cute Spring Float Sun Canopy for the princess! We actually have a blue one from my son, which we loved and used all of the time, but I do love having a girly one for my girl! Using the Canopy Float was actually the first time the princess has been in the water. She was born in October, so it is just now getting warm enough to enjoy the pools. She seemed right at home and perfectly comfortable in this, and took right to it! I personally love it, because this float seems much sturdier than other baby floats I have seen, and I can speak from knowledge that they hold up better! As I said, we still have the one my son used three years ago, and it is in perfect shape!! Using the float allows my daughter to feel safe and protected in the water, and also protects her from the blazing sun. I love how easy it is to fold back up into the storage bag for travel! As you can tell from her smiling face she is completely happy to be in the water with her float sun canopy. I love this device for two very important reasons! The first is because it offers more stability for my little girl than any other baby float we have had, and the second is the canopy. This canopy adds more protection from the sun then the typical plastic baby sun canopy floats do! The SwimWays Baby Spring Float is the single best float on the market today; it’s the perfect product to introduce baby to the water for the first time.

Since summer is almost here, more and more people are thinking about heading to the pools, lakes or beaches to cool off it is so important to learn water safety steps to insure that your family has a fun, but safe summer! This year is SwimWays 5th Annual National Learn to Swim Day on May 21st! SwimWays encourages parents and caregivers nationwide to celebrate in their own way. As pools open across the U.S in May it is an opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of water safety are teaching children to swim. This program was started in 2012 to teach parents about water safety and the importance of teaching little ones to learn how to swim. You can learn more about this amazing program, and receive helpful tips for teaching your baby to swim at teachmetoswim.com. Water safety is a cause that is close to my heart because a family friend passed at the age of 4 in a drowning accident. I am always hyper vigilant around water and try to teach my kids to swim as early as we can! Water safety is so important, because we hear entirely too many incidents of drownings of little ones during the hot summer months!
