Back to school shopping can be stressing at times. I have a Staples about a mile away which is great because it has pretty much everything my kids needed for back to school. Recently they sent me a few items to share with you guys, so you can see what they have.
The number one thing every kid needs for school is a backpack. We were sent the Designed by Students Stow-It-All Backpack, Grey/Blue. This is such a simple design. My daughter loves that there are no big bulky sections to it. She doesn’t have a locker so she needs something that saves space as she has to take it with her all day long. Even though it has a simple design, it still holds everything she needs. On the back there is also a thick memory foam piece. This is used to add back support (backpacks can get really heavy at times). It also adds comfort.
If your child has to bring their laptop to school it also can hold one that is up to a 15” screen. A few of the other features are:
- Insulated pockets on the lower front keep lunch and beverages cool
- Semi-rigid pocket on the upper front for technology devices
- Hidden pockets in backpack and straps
My kids usually have hot lunch, but with such long days for Mya (Volleyball and other sports), she usually need to bring a snack with her. The Jansport Roll Top Lunchbag is a great solution. Plus the designs they have are super cute, like this Sloth one. We love that it helps keep food either warm or cold, depending on what you need. If something spills (Mya loves yogurt), then it’s really easy to clean up as it’s lined with water-resistant fabric.
- One main compartment measuring 8.5" H x 6.25" W x 4.25" D
- Durable 600 denier polyester in fun turquoise multi wet sloth print
- Velcro closure allows for ease when opening and closing
- Web handle for quick grab and go access
- Guaranteed for life
The other top items on my daughter’s list were colored pens and of course a notebook (well a few of them actually). Staples of course has a huge variety of both of these. Her list didn’t say what kind, but we always get college ruled. Mead Five Star Style Wirebound Notebook are durable and will last. I have seen some that are so flimsy.
- Coated, Kraft back cover provides durability and protection for your notes
- Water resistant covers protect notes all year
- Plastic font cover printed with a graphic design breaks from the solid color norm
- Includes 2-pocket page divider to store loose sheets and is reinforced to help prevent tearing
- Neat Sheet® perforated pages easily tear out with clean edges
- Spiral Lock® wire prevents coil snags
- 3-hole punched for easy insert into a 3 ring binder
Every kid loves colors especially pens, I mean as an adult, even I love colored pens. The 10 pack of Staedtler Triplus Fineliner 334 Superfine Point Pens write super easy write with. One of the best features is that they can be left without a cap on for a few days without drying up. We know how easy it is to lose a pen cap. Now you have a few days to find it before anything happens (whew).
- Line width approx. 0.3 mm
- Fineliner with superfine, metal-clad tip
- Ergonomic triangular shape for relaxed and easy writing
- Water-based ink
- Washes out of many textiles
- PP barrel guarantees long service life
