Air Wars Battle Drones- great gift idea

I don’t think I have met a kid or adult that doesn’t like toys that fly. That’s what makes this gift idea perfect for kids and adults really, mainly kids, but still everyone can have fun. Air Wars Battle Drones is that toy.

Since it’s the holiday season, you probably have seen the commercials with the boys battling each other. I have to say, it’s just as much fun as the commercial looks.
Includes:
  •          2 Drones
  •          2 Remotes
  •          10 Battle Weapons
  •          2 - 3.7v rechargeable lithium polymer batteries
  •          8 replacement propellers
  •          6 AAA Batteries
  •          2 Micro USB cables
  •          User Manual

I do love that it comes with the batteries that you need. As a parent, I tend to forget those sometimes, and don’t always have enough on hand, especially for multiple toys. So thank you Air Wars for that little victory!

Air Wars, has come up with a few different games that you can play, or make up your own. Some of the games are easy and some are a little harder, for example:

  • Bull’s Eye Challenge Download the target templates from MGAE.com and set your timer for 60 seconds. Pilot your drone to each target and earn points. For single player action, keep trying to top your best score. For 2-player action, the player with the highest total score after three rounds wins! Disarm Challenge In this 2-player game, set a timer for 2 minutes. Once the time is up, the player that has the most weapons remaining wins.

  • Battle Drone Zone For this 2-player game, the player with the most points after 3 minutes is the winner! Crash into your opponent and earn 1 point for each hit. Knock an opponent’s weapon off and earn 1 point for each weapon. Use a special attack to hit your opponent and earn 2 points for the hit!

  • Master the Gauntlet For this game, create an obstacle course using items from home, like stacking plastic cups and blast them over, hanging a hula hoop and jet through the center or landing in the laundry basket to finish. For single player action, set a timer and try to beat your best time. For 2-player action, the player that finishes the gauntlet first wins! Continue to create new obstacles to make the game more challenging.

I found them super easy to put together and if something does come off (happens in rough landings sometimes), it’s easy to put back together.

You can find Air Wars Battle Droins at Target, Toys R Us, and even Amazon. Check it out today, and see if it’s the right gift this holiday season.

  10. I like that these drones come up with skill game ideas and that they appear to be made very sturdy. It states that they are easy to put back together if parts come off during rough play and since they are battle drones, some rough play is a given.
