Who doesn’t love cake? I just made a chocolate poke cake with chocolate pudding and it is amazing, and VERY simple. It does take a little longer than a normal cake as you need it to set before putting on the whipped cream, but prep is fast. Check out the video below and the recipe written out.
Ingredients:
- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 ¼ c water
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 3 eggs
- 1 box pudding mix
- 2 cups milk
- 1 container of whipped cream
- Butter or spray (to grease pan)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 325
- Mix the cake mix, water, oil and eggs until smooth and pour into greased pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes
- Once done let cake cool for a few minutes while you make the pudding (mix milk and pudding mix until smooth and let set for about 5 minutes)
- Poke holes into the cake with a fork, wooden spoon handle or even a straw. You can put as many holes as you want.
- Pour pudding mix over the cake and spread. Then let set in the fridge for at least 2 hours
- Add whipped cream over the cake
Cut and enjoy!!!
