There is always a huge debate in the smartwatch community. What
kind to get. It’s can be a status thing. To me it shouldn’t be. It should what
fits you. What are you comfortable with? With that said, I do have a great smart
watch option for you from Amazfit. It’s their new Amazfit GTR.
Not only is the Amazfit GTR beautiful but it’s full of so
many functions. My friend Becca is getting back into running after having her third
baby. She was happy to help me try out some of the features of this amazing
watch. You can get in either a 47 mm (which is what I got) or a 42mm.

Battery Life
One thing about smart watches that can be hard is the
battery life. I’ll be completely honest, it’s a downfall of many watches when
you go to check, and you have 10% and you want to leave. Nobody has time for
that. Let me walk you through some amazing numbers for this watch.
Amazfit GTR 47mm

Heart rate always on, sleep monitoring,
150 pushed notifications with screen light-up,

I don’t know
about you, but those numbers alone make me pause and really look at my other
watch and go hmmm.
Notifications
and apps
The Amazfit has all the apps that you are used to in a smart
watch. Like app notifications, stopwatch, weather forecast, event reminder,
countdown, stopwatch, compass, alarm clock. And of course, incoming calls, SMS,
and well telling time.
One of Becca's favorite thing is simple but effective; a flashlight, especially when she ran at night.
Health
Monitoring your health is a big thing for me when it comes
to a watch, and Becca really likes that too when she was helping me with it.
She loved the exercise part of it. It really helps you keep track of your steps
and your sleep schedule.
When it comes to your heart, the GTR can monitor what your
resting heart rate is along with what your heart rate is while you are working
out. This is beneficial for someone who is getting back into running like Becca
or for someone like me who needs to monitor their heart rate due to a medical
illness like myself.
You can even swim with it on. The Amazfit is water resistant
up to 50 meters.
Watch Face
You can change out the face of the watch to fit what you want.
The face store updates a lot which is nice. You don’t have to have it the same
all the time if you don’t want to.
Straps
You can also change out the strap as often as you want as
Amazfit has so many colors and options of Fluororubber, silicone or
leather to choose from.
Men’s and Women’s
This isn’t just a women’s watch, even though I did receive the
women’s one. The Amazfit does have a men’s watch as well. So with Christmas
coming up. Make sure you take a look at the men’s as well. You can get a him
and her’s, especially with the price point being under $200.
Check them out and see what you think. You never know, this
could be the perfect smartwatch for you.
