All I want for my Birthday Children's Book

Have you ever asked your parents what they wanted for their birthday? At age 10 Katie Collins  took it a step further she decided to write her mom a book and surprise her with it called All I Want for My Birthday.

In a perfect book that teaches us what is really important in life. How did Katie get so wise in her young age?

The book is actually from the mom’s point of view with a little boy asking her what she wanted for her birthday. A very interesting take in my opinion. The mom gives some very silly answers for gifts like farm animals or even a dinosaur.

They go through a lot of situations and the mom realizes what she wants most of all, her son.

At such a young age Katie knows that family is more important that material things like a toy that will be played with for a week and will be that will be long forgotten.

This is such a great lesson to kids and adults as well people are more important than things.

A little back story on Katie, she loved to cut and tape paper together to create 3D toys. Once she created a 3D Elephant using a cardboard box and paper. I wish I had a picture. It was very cute. She and her siblings love building things with Legos and building all kinds of buildings and creations in Minecraft.

Katie has also enjoyed drawing. Her parents signed her up for an online drawing class and she has made great progress. She really likes drawing Dragons.

This is a great children’s book that I’m sure your kiddo will love to get. Make sure you check out Amazon and order your copy today.

  3. A good read for youngsters learning to read for the first time. Helps to improve grammar and expand English vocabulary too.

  4. This sounds like a wonderful read for kids. I think it's important that we teach our children that things aren't what are important in life. People and relationships are.

  5. I LOVE that the book is written from the mom's point of view to help teach this lesson. We are the main models for behavior and values in our children's lives. Writing the book as the mom telling her son what she wants with that message is such a great idea.

  17. My Mom passed away years ago. I don't do much for my birthday due to my disability and lack of money. This year covid prevented my relatives from being able to visit due to social distancing and all the restrictions the virus put on everyone.

  18. With covid around and many places closed, a big celebration will have to wait...so it'll be a quiet, stay-at-home, order food in kind of thing.
