Now ‘s the time for a cleaner bottom with Clear Rear

Have you ever been in someone’s home or a really nice hotel that had a bidet? If you have, I’m sure you were like, ok I need to get one of these. Now, if you haven’t tried one, you need to. They are simply amazing. They can be a bit expensive though and let’s be real, not all of us have the money for it. That’s where Clear Rear comes into play. They have made a bidet attachment for your toilet so you get all the same comfort for the fraction of the price.  Click this link to get20% off Clear Rear Today!

My husband and I were recently talking about bidets and then all of a sudden Clear rear contacted me to test out theirs. I’d say it was kismet don’t you think?

What is a bidet?

For those who don’t know what a bidet is I’ll give a brief explanation. A traditional bidet is a bowl where you sit on the rim and it uses water pressure to clean you after using the bathroom. Since, like I mentioned above they can get pricey. Companies like Clear rear have made attachments that you can put on your regular toilet and turn it into a bidet.

How to install it

The Clear Rear get attached to your existing plumbing. It takes a little bit of time but all you need is a flat head screwdriver and a wrench.

The installation was really simple (for my husband anyway). You start by turning off the water. Take the toilet seat off. You then put the attachment on and put the seat back on over it. After that it’s taking off the water attachment so you can put the one on for the clear rear. They even include the sealing tape for you as well if you need it, which we did.

Once you are all done you can get to using it. The knobs are pretty self-explanatory and they even have a “woman” setting for us girls.

What are the benefits?

The benefits are huge. Not only do you get cleaner (improving personal hygiene) than you would with just using toilet paper, but you save from not using as much. After getting clean you just need a little bit to pat dry and you are good to go. I went from using the normal amount of toilet paper depending on the need, to a couple squares per time. It may not seem like much, but it adds up super-fast. I feel cleaner from the bidet if that makes sense. I feel like it got more than just using toilet paper. As a girl we want to feel fresh and with this, it’s achieved.

Other benefits are more medial and some not the most pleasant if you have them. One is Hemorrhoids. Using a bidet, us a lot easier on the body than the harshness of toilet paper.

If you have just given birth, a bidet can be a Godsend

Children can even benefit from then when potty training.

What do I think about it?

This may be a little TMI, but then again we are talking about a product that washes areas for you. Since the Clear Rear doesn’t have a heating unit for it, I was a little surprised when I first used it. I would let the water setting for a little bit so it’s more at room temp and not so cold. Don’t say I didn’t warn you with your first use.

Once you get used to it a little, I’m sure you will be loving it. You may want to buy one for all your toilets after that.

  1. I have definitely heard about bidets before, but I have never used one! They used to be sort of a taboo subject that most people act all grossed out about, but I totally see the benefits! I have three little ones that could use it as well, nothing wrong with being extra clean! I'm so glad someone made it more affordable, maybe I can convince my husband to get one now. Thanks for sharing!

  12. We used to have bidets years ago but they were separate. I didn't know there was an option that could be attached to the toilet.
