Give your mom Southern Caramel for Mother's Day and Macaroons

I haven’t been making macarons for a super long time, but I have made a lot of them, and one of my favorite flavors is chocolate. The fun thing with these cookies is the options are endless. Flavoring the shells can be tricky so if you are brand new to the game you can leave the cocoa out of the shell and just focus on the filling. That’s where the fun is anyway. For these macarons I decided to make a ganache filling and put Southern Caramel in the middle. Check out the recipe below.
