This is my beautiful, smart six year old little boy. My little boy lives in a world of his own most of the time. He becomes so wrapped up in his imagination and his world that he sometimes uses his hands or sweater, or whatever handy as a chew toy. Sometimes his sleeves are just wet but other times he leaves bite marks in his skin. This usually happens when is is focusing very hard on something. Although he is not autistic, he does tend to have some tendencies that could be addressed by an occupational therapist, but for now- after talking to Michelle (our resident TNM OT) we decided to try a "chewie."I began to research the silicone teething necklaces over a month ago, and saw that most of the prices were around $12-15 and that did not include shipping. Of course, as a Mom willing to do anything to help her child focus his best at school, I was willing to pay that. That was before I heard of this fabulous Etsy company, iPuke. DUH!! Etsy, why did I not look there? At only $4.50, you get an amazing product for a third of the price of other companies!
