Make Your New Year Resolution to Plan for Your Childs Financial Future!

What was your New Years Resolution? I had a few, but one was to better ourselves and become more financially stable and plan for our kids and our own financial future. One way we are doing this is purchasing a Florida Prepaid College Fund for each child. While we cannot afford the full four year university plan with three kids, we can afford to purchase one year at a time for each kid. If we keep doing this, we will have at least 2-3 years paid for for our children by the time they reach college age. That will be an amazing boost for them and will be great for us too because we will not be struggling with loans or scrambling to pay tuition and books and room and board!! It is all really too much!!

I am so excited to be planning for my kids financial future in 2017 and it is something that all parents should be thinking about in the new year. One day your child will be going to college and you might be stressing about how to make ends meet. Not all children get scholarships or financial aid, so this is definitely something you want to think about and there are so many options to make it more affordable. Not all of us can afford a full four year university plan...especially if we have more than one child, so we do what we can!

If you cannot tell, education for my kids is something I am pretty passionate about! I look forward to their futures and seeing them become successful people and I know most parent feel the same.
