YAH! Considering he is my BIGGEST expense I am so happy that I have his shopping completed. He, of course, is getting TONS of Thomas the Train items...and a few Dora things too! I also got him a bean bag chair because even though he has his own mini recliner, he likes to sit closer to the television than I will allow his chair to be. All in all, I am not going as nuts this year for Christmas as I have done for him in the past. I really have no option as A)space in the apartment is limited and B) moving is expensive and has left us with not a lot of excess cash. I know he will be thrilled with what he got though. After all Dora and Thomas the Train are his absolute favorites.
I am also well over halfway done with my other Christmas shopping!
So tell me, how is the shopping going for you all? Done? Haven't started? Well on your way like me?

ReplyDeleteI've gotten some sewing projects finished but we haven't even started our actual shopping. Hubby gets a huge Christmas bonus each year through work. We were worried it wasn't coming this year, it is, just like Dec. 10th...so that's when we'll start shopping...fan.tastic. lol
How awesome are you to be almost finished! I am trying to win my gifts this year through entering contests, I know it sounds stupid but since losing my part time job a while ago I haven't been able to find anything to supplement that cash so come mid December I will buy any gifts I haven't won from contests with what cash I have. It's disappointing not to be able to shop like I love to this season but we are still blessed to have food on the table and a roof over our head so I can't complain!

ReplyDeleteI am so blessed, my shopping is all done. We just finished with 2 shoeboxes of things for the Operation Christmas today.
I have grandchildren and 1 (on the way) great grandchild and I have had so much fun entering for gifts.

ReplyDeleteI always start out slow and make a huge dent on Black Friday. So, per usual, that's my plan! Haha. I have a couple little things for Konnor and Ariana? Eh, maybe one thing. Only because whatever I buy her she gets right away. LOL!!

We are done with gifts for our grandson, and we give cash to our kids since they are all grown up and that is really what they want the most! :-)
