What a storm!

About 10:30 last night it started raining, but not just any rain. It was TERRIBLE. I knew it was pretty bad when the electricity went out, but it STAYED out for a long time...until 10:30 this morning. I woke up to discover downed trees EVEYWHERE. In the apartment courtyard that is the next pod over, there was A HUGE oak tree down. There were dead animals everywhere (bats, birds ect) It was just really sad and scarey. Luckily nobody that I know of got hurt but there were trees that took out gutters and blocked people in their homes. Anyway-here are a couple pictures I took on my walk around today.



and, oh yes, that is my booger inspecting the damage with me. He kept saying, "Holy Cow" because I was ;)
