Makeup is my friend. I have always loved it, and remember being a little girl that could not wait until the day when I could wear it. I remember sitting on the bathtub and watching my Mom apply her CoverGirl makeup every single day…now, it’s my turn. I do not step foot out of this house without it and I love to experiment with new shades and techniques. Covergirl is a brand that I have loved for a long time! It’s been around forever, and it has been tried and true…it’s just good stuff at a great price! You can’t beat it!
I was lucky enough to receive a super cool director’s chair and several makeup kits from Covergirl and My Blog Spark. I have all the makeup I will need for a long while to “play” with. I actually have the LashBlast Volume-Blasting Mascara which I have been using for a while, and that I love! I also received a makeup artist director´s chair, Makeup Master case with mirror, and a cheat-sheet with tips and advice from CoverGirl makeup artist Molly Stern. This cheat sheet helped me sooo much! Seriously….I have always had issues with pulling off the smoky eye look- but NOT ANYMORE!! Super Easy….and I look Easy Breezy…COVERGIRL!! Haha.
Win It! So, now on to the GOOD stuff. Covergirl and my Blog Spark just so happened to send me a $20 Walmart gift card for YOU to try out all the new Cover Girl products!! Are you excited yet? You should be!! All I need you to do is SIMPLY tell me one trick of the trade you have learned for achieving that smoky eye look.

The CoverGirl Smoky Eye kit, information and Walmart gift card to give away were all provided by CoverGirl through MyBlogSpark

I learned that using the right brushes helps a great deal in achieving that look. The more you are able to put the makeup precisely where you want it, the less mistakes and do-overs.
ReplyDeleteMake sure your eyeliner pencil is sharpened before you begin. You want to get as close to the lashes--on top and bottom--as possible.
