Making Play Doh!

I love to make stuff with my boys but its hard to find crafts that they BOTH can do sometimes. When we paint Zack paints himself while Eli paints the paper. Its always an adventure. Someone had mentioned to me about making our own play doh because my kids love it so much. And its great for developing fine motor skills! I finally looked up the reciepe online and we had a great time making it!

The only thing I can make out of play doh is a Snail...but Eli was pretty amused. We made and entire snail family!





This stuff was so simple to make! All you need is 1/2 cup salt, 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup of water. Mix together until its not watery or flour-ey lol then add food coloring. I tried to make purple but somehow it turned out brownish. But the green turned out great!
