Almost Naked Animals, "It's My Party" Review

Almost Naked Animals- Sort of a weird name and at first I was hesitant to review this for that reason. However, I am seriously happy I did. My son sat and watched this DVD and then begged to watch it again. He laughed and laughed and has kept it in the DVD player to watch it to many other times since we have received it. This show was first released in Canada, but is now available on Cartoon Network here in the states. 

“Almost Naked Animals is a joyously irreverent animated comedy series, featuring a lovable assortment of free-spirited animals (who happen to be in their underwear), led by Howie, the animals run a beach-front hotel, the Banana Cabana–doing their best to make each day more fun than the last.”

This funny first season of Almost Naked Animals titled “It’s My Party” will be released on September 25, 2012, and I really think you should pick it up for your child! It will provide them with hours of laughs, even if some of the humor is a little- gross, but that is perfect for a five year old boy who thinks the grosser the better!  Even though the show borders on gross, I am sure that you might even enjoy the show, because it provides enough wit to interest the adult viewers as well. 

Also on September 25, 2012, there will be a new online community to launch. There will be games and ways to play with the characters, as well as links to the store where you can buy all kinds of neat things such as shirts, tote bags and notebooks, all of which I received with my DVD..and they are SUPER cute!! 

Definitely check out Almost Naked Animals with you child. It honestly does not provide much educational value for your child in my opinion, but it provide good entertainment and a few wonderful laughs.
